Redefining Healthcare

What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is a healthcare model that focuses on keeping your care affordable, accessible and personalized by removing the interference of insurance companies and medical administrators.

Basically, this means:

  • Your doctor can spend more time with you instead of dealing with insurance companies and going to meetings.
  • Your care is no longer constrained to 15-minute time slots
  • When you need to reach your doctor, you can call your doctor’s cell phone. Or text them. Or email them. Or make an appointment for the same or next day (in person or virtual). Whatever you need, whenever you need.
  • Instead of leaving your appointment worried about how high your bill will be, you already know the cost- and it is typically a fraction of what you are used to. As in, maybe zero.
In other words, it’s healthcare as it should be.

How does DPC work?

A DPC doctor does not bill insurance, including Medicare, for your care and there are no co-pays. Instead, you pay a monthly fee that covers unlimited visits, whether in person or via phone or video.

Because the administrative red tape and metrics associated with insurance companies are no longer a burden, the focus can then be on high-quality care and having the time to discuss all of your needs. This leads to happier patients and happier doctors.

Is DPC a good fit for me?

Most patients will benefit from enrolling with a DPC clinic. There are a few exceptions. Most patients will benefit from the convenience and affordability that comes from a DPC clinic.
